Recovery takes courage and the right support. At Willow Behavioral Health in Madison, WI, our PHP for addiction offers focused, structured care without the need for overnight stays.
What Is PHP Addiction Treatment?
A Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is one of the highest levels of outpatient care for substance use. It’s designed for adults who need daily support but are stable enough to recover without inpatient hospitalization.
At Willow, PHP includes therapy, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and holistic support for six or more hours a day, five or more days a week. It can follow detox or inpatient care, or act as a starting point when weekly therapy isn’t enough.
Benefits of Willow’s Partial Hospitalization Program for Addiction
Our addiction PHP combines clinical precision with deep compassion. We treat the whole person, not just the substance use. Every aspect of our program is built around your individual needs.

Great group of people that are supportive. Different than other recovery centers as it allows for more of an individual structure and guidelines based on your situation.
Excellent experience I had with everyone in this program. They were here for me in my darkest times. Helped me work through it. They made me feel like family and didn’t bring up any bad trials or information I had expressed with them. Always positive with everything. Will definitely recommend them if ever needed it!

Traditional therapy often treats symptoms in isolation, such as practical coping skills for anxiety or substance use treatment for addiction. Trauma-informed care touches on the intersection between these symptoms
